Problems with mood can impact how we function in our daily lives, disrupt our relationships with others, and deplete our emotional reserves. Addressing these concerns involves gaining a clear understanding of the nature and context of symptoms, and working together to apply evidence-based interventions to improve and stabilise mood.

The path to starting or growing a family brings significant change and often comes with many unknowns. Fertility concerns, pregnancy loss, challenges during pregnancy and birth, and adjustment to parenthood can impact us in so many ways. Mental health concerns and conditions during this phase of life require compassion, understanding, and knowledge to assist you through what can be a very difficult time for mothers, partners, and families as a whole.
-
Life can present us with serious adverse events that can have a significant impact on our daily functioning, our mood, and our relationships. Sometimes a short course of treatment can help get through a challenging period or cope with a stressor. These events might be the loss of a job, a relationship breakdown, illness, or an unexpected change. Other events impact us more deeply and may need specialised treatment.

Sometimes we just need to talk. It can be helpful to work through thoughts and feelings to find a way forward. Supportive counselling provides an opportunity to explore these in a therpeutic setting, building on your strengths and addressing your unique needs.
